Disney+: Frozen 2, Avengers Endgame… these hit films are coming soon to the platform! – Cinema news

After winning over viewers at the cinema, these successful films will soon be arriving on Disney+: (re)discover Dumbo, Frozen 2, Avengers Endgame, Aladdin, Toy Story 4 and The Lion King in the coming months on the platform!

This is one of the great strengths of the platform Disney+ : its impressive catalog lists great cinema classics, from Titanic to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Cinderella, but also more recent successes such as Captain Marvel and Paddington 2, or even original films available exclusively.

Two years after its launch in France, Disney+ has not finished spoiling its subscribers. In the coming weeks, several films that have won the hearts of cinema viewers will in turn join the platform. So many feature films to (re)discover alone, with friends or family!

Dumbo – Already available

Your attention please, the show is about to begin… A true specialist in singular and poetic works, Tim Burton takes the spectators on a tour that they are not ready to forget with the film Dumbo, now available on Disney+.

Nearly 80 years after the Disney classic, the American filmmaker revisits the story of the irresistible baby elephant with its impressively sized ears that allow it to… fly!

In this touching feature film, Tim Burton finds some of his favorite actors: Michael Keaton (Beetlejuice, Batman), Danny DeVito (Batman, the challenge, Mars Attacks!) and Eva Green (Dark Shadows, Miss Peregrine and the children individuals). It also features Colin Farrell as Holt Farrier, the guardian of the circus elephants.

Frozen 2 – Friday, April 15

Almost six years after the huge success of the animated film Frozen in 2013, viewers are invited to return to the kingdom of Arendelle in Frozen II. And it is once again a real hit when it is released in theaters, even exceeding the results of the first film at the world box office!

In this 2nd opus, Elsa embarks on a perilous journey to discover the origin of her magical powers. She can of course count on the support of Anna, Kristoff, Sven and the adorable Olaf, always dubbed in French by comedian and actor Dany Boon.

In the original version, the film offers a high-flying voice cast: Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, among others. Avengers: Endgame – Wednesday, April 27

While the 4th phase of the MCU was launched in the summer of 2021 with the theatrical release of Black Widow, and the original Marvel Studios series continue to be a hit on the platform, Disney+ invites you to (re)discover for the first time streaming the epic conclusion of the famous Infinity Saga.

2nd biggest worldwide box office success just behind Avatar (also available on Disney+), Avengers: Endgame brings together the heroes Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Bruce Banner and Clint Barton in search of a solution to save the half of humanity disappeared following the snap of the fingers of the chilling Thanos.

After Avengers: Infinity War, Anthony and Joe Russo offer fans of the Marvel universe a simply spectacular finale. Find Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Brie Larson, Paul Rudd and the whole team from April 27 on the platform.

Aladdin – Coming Soon

Live-action remakes of great Disney classics are popular and it’s not about to stop. In 2019, director Guy Ritchie (Snatch, The Gentlemen) lifts the veil on his version of the story dedicated to the famous prince of thieves, Aladdin.

Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott respectively lend their features to the kind-hearted young hero and the mysterious Princess Jasmine in this ambitious feature film. Hollywood star Will Smith slips into the skin of the powerful Genie, a key character in the Disney universe dubbed in French by Anthony Kavanagh.

Toy Story 4 – Coming Soon

The greatest success of the Toy Story animation saga, the 4th opus by Josh Cooley will arrive very soon on the platform. Crowned with excellent press and viewer ratings of 4.2/5 on AlloCiné, the winner of the Oscar for best animated film in 2020 has also won the hearts of the public!

This entertainment from Pixar studios follows the thrilling new adventures of Woody and his gang, joined by Fourchette, a utensil transformed in spite of himself into a toy by Bonnie. With humor and emotion, Toy Story 4 once again transports us to this universe so familiar to children and their parents and which still has so much to offer us.

In the French version, viewers will recognize the voices of Pierre Niney (Fourchette), Angèle (Gabby Gabby), Franck Gastambide (Bunny), Audrey Fleurot (La Bergère) and Jamel Debbouze (Ducky). The Lion King – Coming soon

In the top 10 of cinema’s biggest hits, the live-action version of the great classic The Lion King won over viewers when it was released in theaters in the summer of 2019. Twenty-five years after the animated film, Jon Favreau (The Mandalorian) in turn stages the mythical story of Simba, future king of the Land of Lions.

This story that rocked the childhood of many spectators comes to life here in live action in breathtaking settings. In the original version, the feature film counts on the vocal participation of Beyoncé, Donald Glover, Chiwetel Ejiofor or Seth Rogen. In VF, viewers will recognize the voices of Jean Reno (who once again dubbed Mufasa as in 1994), Rayane Bensetti, Anne Sila and Jamel Debbouze.
