The Canadian will visit the Devils tonight in Newark. reminder : Justin Barron, Paul Byron and Jonathan Drouin are the only players on the team who did not fly yesterday afternoon. Notwithstanding Shea Weber, of course…

Samuel Montembeault, Jeff Petry, Laurent Dauphin, Jordan Harris, Michael Pezzetta, William Lagesson and Mathieu Perreault also took to the ice this morning. Since it was not an optional training, we can think that they will be the players in additional this evening.

Except perhaps in the case of Samuel Montembeault. Generally, the starting goaltender always skates the morning of a game at the Canadiens. It would be a first start since March 27 (against the Devils elsewhere) for Montembeault.

In short, it would mean that Harris (in health) would be left out and that Wideman, Clague and Pitlick (Tyler) would return to the training. There would be nothing wrong with giving a young player who has just arrived on the show a leave of absence.
