The Canadian will visit the Devils tonight in Newark. reminder : Justin Barron, Paul Byron and Jonathan Drouin are the only players on the team who did not fly yesterday afternoon. Notwithstanding Shea Weber, of course…
Carey Price, on his first trip with the team, donned his kit this morning with what appears to be Eric Raymond.

Let’s say Price didn’t look like a goalie bothered by a knee injury…
The #31, however, will not start tonight’s game against the Devils. Nor the one on Saturday in Toronto…
Monday night against the Jets at the Bell Center? It’s a possibility…
Samuel Montembeault, Jeff Petry, Laurent Dauphin, Jordan Harris, Michael Pezzetta, William Lagesson and Mathieu Perreault also took to the ice this morning. Since it was not an optional training, we can think that they will be the players in additional this evening.
Except perhaps in the case of Samuel Montembeault. Generally, the starting goaltender always skates the morning of a game at the Canadiens. It would be a first start since March 27 (against the Devils elsewhere) for Montembeault.

In short, it would mean that Harris (in health) would be left out and that Wideman, Clague and Pitlick (Tyler) would return to the training. There would be nothing wrong with giving a young player who has just arrived on the show a leave of absence.
We will have confirmations around 5:00 p.m. when Martin St-Louis will meet the media.
But for the moment, we can think that the alignment of the CH will have this to see-be :
Caufield–Suzuki–Pitlick (Rem)
Hoffman-Evans-Anderson
Armia–Dvorak–Gallagher
Ylonen-Poehling-Pitlick (Tyler)
Romanov–Schueneman
Edmundson Wideman
Clague–Savard
Montembeault
Allen
At the Devils, we will not see Jack Hughes, whose season is over. Recently recalled AJ Greer and Dawson Mercer are expected to be in uniform, however.
Tomas Tatar should be on the of themPK Subban should be the third right-handed defender… And Andrew Hammond should face his former teammates.
Andrew Hammond in the #NJDevils starting net. So it looks like he gets the green light against his former team.
— Amanda Stein (@amandacstein) April 7, 2022
Hammond had not been sent into the fray against the Canadiens on March 27.
There are only 12 games left in the Canadian season. I don’t think we’ll see William Lagesson in uniform very often…
We meet around 7:10 p.m. tonight on RDS. The latest news, Pierre Houde and Marc Denis will be on the air, those who – unlike many of their colleagues – have not caught COVID-19 recently.
For who will takeyou tonight in your living room? The Canadian or Andrew Hammond?
Are you thinking about the present or the future? #Lottery

– Will Mark Scheifele play the next campaign away from Manitoba?
– Are the Lightning running out of steam?
It took the Lightning 56 games to lose consecutive games in regulation.
In the last 15 games, they’ve had three or three losing streaks. Eight of these losses in regulation.
Nine of their 20 regulation losses have come in the last 18 games.

– Will Jack Eichel manage to finally make the playoffs?
Jack Eichel has 5 goals, 7pts in his last 6 games. The Knights are 5-1-0 over that streak, but lost their last game to the Canucks 5-1 last night. #VegasBorn
