Motorists will have to be patient during the weekend, because of the many closures that make traffic difficult in Quebec.

Already, on Saturday morning, the closure of the Henri-IV highway (A73) was causing huge traffic jams in the Capitale-Nationale.
Indeed, Highway 73 is strewn with closures that will be necessary until Monday morning.
First, there is a complete closure northbound, between Autoroute Duplessis (A540)/Boulevard Laurier (R175) and Boulevard du Versant-Nord.
Then, there is a second southbound closure between Autoroute Charest (A440)/Félix-Leclerc (A40) and Boulevard Hochelaga.
Since their journeys have been disrupted by several closures, motorists are invited to take a detour via the Duplessis highway (A540), northbound, and the Félix-Leclerc highway (A40), eastbound.
“Avoid the area and, above all, plan your trips by consulting Québec 511,” Transport Québec recalled in a tweet published on Friday.
Traffic is expected to remain difficult until Monday morning, when Highway 73 will reopen to traffic.
