An open casting

Fond of confusing castings and scenarios, the Northerner is looking for an amateur Boulonnais to play the main role of the film. This is why a casting is organized at the Liberation stadium in Boulogne on April 22 and 23. Clément Morelle, casting director, is looking for a young man aged around 18 to 25 and living in Boulogne-sur-Mer or a surrounding town. ” If the candidate has experience in a profession of the sea, as a fisherman for example, it is a plus. On site, we will take the coordinates, we will take a photo and I will conduct a brief interview. “, explains the professional.

Filming organized this summer

The interpreter selected will of course be remunerated. His travel and accommodation costs will be covered. He will have to make himself available six weeks from August 1, the start date of filming. A very Boulonnais shoot since most of the shots will be done by us. The lucky winner chosen for the main role will therefore have the chance to share the poster for this film mixing humor and science fiction with “stars”.

In the world of P’tit Quinquin

In The Empirewe will also find the shock duo of the mini-series Little Quinquinthat Bruno Dumont had made. Commander Van der Weyden (played by Bernard Pruvost) and Lieutenant Carpentier (Philippe Jore) will therefore resume service. ” The feature film is not a sequel to the series but it takes up its universe… “, reveals Clément Morelle.

Casting organized on Friday April 22 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday April 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Salon Calonne, Stade de la Liberation, Boulevard Eurvin in Boulogne-sur-Mer. No registration required.
