A quote from Éric Duhaime, leader of the Conservative Party of Quebec

This participation, a first for the Conservative Party of Quebecwas one of Éric Duhaime’s main objectives when he entered politics. He considers it to be a platform of choice for presenting the ideas of the Party to the electorate.

This is very good news for all the Conservatives in Quebec, it is good news for democracy as well. A debate where there is more diversity of opinion is not a bad thinghe said.

According to the chief, the Conservative Party of Quebec was also invited to Face to face de TVA, but on condition of obtaining at least 10% of the voting intentions in a survey carried out by a recognized firm.

In the eyes of Éric Duhaime, the Conservative Party of Quebec is no longer a third party. He mentions in particular the performance of the Party during the by-election in Marie-Victorin, Monday evening. Conservative candidate Anne Casabonne won 10% of the vote. By finishing fourth, she outstripped candidates from other major parties, including the Quebec Liberal Party.
