The Canadian ranks 31st out of 32 in the overall NHL standings this morning.
A win tonight would move him up to 30th, ahead of the Kraken (and the Coyotes). A loss, in regular time or overtime, would keep him in 31st place.
Would you like a win or a loss for your side, who have just eight games left to play this season after tonight?
The Blue Jackets are a bit in the no man’s land of the Eastern Conference.
They sit 10th (out of 16), 18 points from a playoff berth, but eight points ahead of the 11th-ranked team in their conference.
In short, today’s match will be even less important for the Jackets than for CH.
Even though Jonathan Drouin was placed on the LTIRthat Jesse Ylonen was transferred to the Rocket, that Jake Allen ended his season and that Carey Price trained in front of the net of the starting goaltender yesterday in Brossard, the #31 will not make his return to play tonight in Columbus. Maybe he doesn’t want to hear the Blue Jackets cannon after every goal he might allow, hehe?

The new date to circle is Friday, when the Islanders will be the visitors at the Bell Centre. Will Jesus Price be resurrected on Easter weekend?
We will know more once the club returns to Montreal (tonight). The team has a game on the schedule before facing the Jackets…
Montreal players held a court morning skating optional this morning. Few players had taken the option.
Samuel Montembeault will get another start. He will be assisted by Cayden Primeau. Carey Price has practiced but has yet to give his to go official at Martin St-Louis.

Three defenders and three forwards will be left out by St-Louis and his Staff : Schueneman, Clague, Lagesson, Dauphin, Pezzetta and Perreault.
Corey Schueneman will skip his turn against the Jackets. Chris Wideman will be back.
Schueneman does additional exercises with Clague, Lagesson, Dauphin, Pezzetta and Perreault.Tyler Pitlick should also return to the game. He will obviously take the place of Ylönen (Laval)

So that means Wideman, Harris, Byron, Poehling and the two Pitlick cousins will be in uniform.
This will be the first game in Columbus for Josh Anderson and David Savard since leaving there.
Among the Blue Jackets, the many injured players should be noted: Sean Kuraly, Yegor Chinakhov, Joonas Korpisalo, Boone Jenner, Alexandre Texier, Danniel Tarasov and Nathan Gerbe.
Patrik Laine is the team’s top scorer (25) and points scorer (53). reminder : he will be eligible for restricted autonomy and arbitration this summer.
Jakub Voracek, Oliver Bjorkstrand, Zach Werenski, Boone Jenner and Gustav Nyquist are all having a relatively good season.

– Conclusion : CF Montreal will indeed have a new logo in a few months. And the fleur-de-lis could be reinstated…

– The Red Sox will no longer accept paper money.
#RedSox will not accept cash at Fenway this season. Concession stands and street vendors will only accept credit cards or contactless payment with smartphones.
It’s clearly about outsmarting Doug MacRay and his crew.
